A Guide to Celebrating Valentine's Day in London

Updated: Dec 22, 2019

What are four, young, single gals supposed to do on Valentines Day in London? There's plenty to do, believe me. For starters, we visited The Tea Room at Harrods. The menu was filled with so many different types of teas (not like we knew the difference) but we ended up ordering the vanilla excellence, which was China black tea infused with vanilla from Madagascar. We knew we had to save room for dinner but we could not resist the "tea fancies" menu which had all different types of cakes to go along with the drinks. We ended up eating our desserts before dinner and ordered the chocolate fudge cake and raspberry angel food cake…it was delish!

After searching for a last minute dinner reservation on Valentines Day we came across this quality Italian restaurant, Azzurro, right in the South Bank of London near the water overlooking the London Eye ferris wheel. We ordered toasted ciabatta bruschetta, pollo pesto rosso pizza, oven baked fusilli cacciatora al forno & crostata di mele (traditional italian, deep filled apple tart, served with warm vanilla ice cream).

After dinner we rode the London Eye at night-time, giving us the best view of the entire city and making a great ending to our girls night out.
